Travel Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location:
Wichita, KS
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Day shift: 7A - 7P
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medication and manage medication drips as needed.
- Assist with the insertion of central lines and monitor their use.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
