Travel RN - Operating Room
Travel RN position in the Operating Room. The unit consists of 28 beds and a dedicated staff. Staffing typically includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters on day shift. Patient ratios during the night shift are 1:1. The unit is equipped with DaVinci Robotics SI, XI, and Mako. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system used is Meditech/CPN. Procedures performed include Orthopedics, GYN, General Surgery, Urology, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Plastics, Dental, Eyes, Pediatrics, Spine, Neuro, Trauma, TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci.
Experience working with DaVinci Robotics, as well as orthopedics, neurology, and vascular procedures, is highly preferred. Prior experience with Meditech is advantageous. Strong communication with staff and providers is essential. On-call duty consists of 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month, with a 30-minute response time. Consider new equipment and technology within the unit as a significant factor in attracting potential applicants.
