Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities ($28–$32/hr)
  • Monitor staff compliance with all State and Federal requirements, including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety.
  • Record and monitor residents’ progress and communicate with physicians per facility policies.
  • Participate in the development, revision, and accuracy of resident care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments within LPN scope (e.g., IVs) as ordered and in a timely manner per policies and schedules.
  • Provide management of nursing care to residents.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications
  • Current state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities ($31–$37/hr)
  • May be delegated or assigned as “charge nurse” by the Director of Nursing or Unit Manager, supervising nursing activities during the shift in accordance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
  • Provide management of nursing care to residents.
  • Participate in shift-to-shift reports and pass information to the next shift.
  • Communicate with family members regarding residents’ progress.
  • Record and monitor residents’ progress and communicate with physicians per facility policies.
  • Act as liaison among primary care physicians, nursing staff, and families.
  • Participate in development and revision of resident care plans.
  • Ensure medications and treatments are administered as ordered and timely according to policies and schedules.
  • Ensure medication and supply storage and control procedures are followed.
  • Monitor caregivers’ work, ensure assignments are completed, and assist with tasks as needed.
  • Monitor compliance with all State and Federal requirements (blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, fire safety).
  • Monitor compliance with residents’ rights.
  • Ensure adequate staffing on nursing units by reporting immediately to supervisor if needed.
  • Complete admission assessments for newly admitted residents.
  • Transfer and discharge residents with appropriate and accurate information.
Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications
  • Current State Registered Nurse License.
