Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing care within a busy birthing center, supporting high-risk pregnancies, postpartum care, and gynecological procedures. The position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a well‑equipped unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid registered nurse license, minimum of 1-year current acute care postpartum experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, and ability to work in the United States
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Obstetrics (OB) experience, medical-surgical (med-surg) experience, gynecology (GYN) experience
• Unit Information:
  • Number of beds: 29
  • Staffing: 20 staff members, including 1 charge nurse per shift and 2-4 RNs
  • Patient ratios: 4-6:1
  • Equipment:
    Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, point-of-care glucose monitoring
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR):
    Meditech / CPN
• Typical procedures:
  Post-operative gynecological surgeries, urogynecology surgeries, ectopic pregnancies, high-risk pregnancies (PPROM, preeclampsia, previa, preterm labor), fetal monitoring (non-stress tests), postpartum/post-surgical obstetric care, readmitted postpartum complications
• Additional information:
