American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Stepdown/Intermediate Care unit requiring a KS or compact RN license and 2 years of experience.

• Work in the Stepdown Intermediate Care unit of a hospital setting
• 13-week contract assignment
• Shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner One Chart EMR
• Floating required to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita
• Holiday coverage required for any holidays occurring during the contract dates

• Active KS or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide medical/surgical and stepdown level nursing care to intermediate care patients
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Radius rule applies which may reduce pay rate for local candidates within the designated distance
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
