Travel Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location:
Wichita, KS
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery (L&D) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in postpartum care, demonstrated commitment to patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality postpartum nursing care to patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to any changes appropriately.
- Utilize fetal monitoring equipment and perform necessary assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in post-operative gynecological and urogynecology procedures as needed.
- Educate patients and families regarding postpartum care and recovery.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care postpartum experience.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications are required.
- Preferred experience in OB, med-surg, or GYN nursing.
