RN Med/Surg – Travel Assignment

Title:

RN Med/Surg Duration: 13 Weeks

Location:

Wichita, Kansas (833 N Vassar Ave, Wichita, KS 67208)

Schedule:

Days | 3x12s | 36 Hours/Week

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• Current BLS certification

• CRRN Certification
• Knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in post-acute settings
• Experience with telemetry patients and ability to pass Airstrip telemetry competency
• ACLS certification

• Assist with rehabilitation care plans established by the interdisciplinary team
• Perform head-to-toe patient assessments
• Administer IV antibiotics and IV medications as needed
• Perform lab draws
• Administer blood products as needed
• Educate patients and family members on care plans and rehabilitation programs

• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Empathetic and patient-focused
• Passionate about patient advocacy and rehabilitation care
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary staff #
