Registered Nurse – ICU

ICU Critical Care Nurse

Provide specialized critical care nursing services in the ICU to stabilize and monitor critically ill patients. Deliver compassionate and efficient patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions to develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and utilize ICU equipment to detect changes in patient status.
• Perform invasive procedures such as dialysis line insertions, arterial line insertions, and chest tube placements.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient data accurately in EMR and communicate essential information to team members.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent ICU experience in an acute care hospital.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Demonstrate ventilator and IV medication gtt competency.
• Have experience with Meditech EMR system.
• Ability to float between Wesley Campus units as needed.
• Exhibit strong communication and patient care skills.
