Registered Nurse – Mother Baby ​/ Postpartum

Postpartum Nurse

Provide specialized postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns in a busy hospital postpartum unit. Deliver high-quality patient care while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to support high-risk postpartum patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer postpartum and neonatal care, including vital monitoring and support.
• Assist with breastfeeding support, postpartum hemorrhage management, and hypertension assessment.
• Perform procedures such as POC glucose monitoring and assisting with circumcisions.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system and follow unit policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Maintain compliance with HCA ICARE standards and unit guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 1 year of acute care postpartum experience.
• Valid BLS and NRP certifications.
• Demonstrated experience in high-risk postpartum patient care.
• Ability to work multiple shifts and adapt to flexible scheduling.
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and patient-focused approach.
• Comfortable working with advanced equipment such as Welch Allen vitals machines and CPN monitors.
