Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Telemetry Nurse Opportunity

Provide specialized telemetry nursing care to adult patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in their condition. Ensure patient safety and comfort through collaborative, attentive nursing practices.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for adult patients using telemetry equipment.
• Respond promptly to abnormal ECG findings or patient emergencies, initiating appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about condition management and ongoing care needs.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Kansas or applicable state licensure.
• Minimum of 1-year recent acute care telemetry experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills.
• Prior travel nursing experience at large teaching hospitals is preferred.
