American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring KS or compact RN licensure and prior cardiac/telemetry experience.

• Work in a 16-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit within a hospital setting
• Care for post heart cath patients, cardiac-focused patients, and overflow cases
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
• 13-week assignment length

• Active KS or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• MOAB Moderate Risk de-escalation training required
• Cardiac or telemetry unit experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide skilled nursing care to cardiac and post-procedural patients in a stepdown/progressive care setting
• Must reside within the facility's designated radius to qualify for the standard travel rate; local candidates within the radius may be considered at a reduced rate
• Candidates should have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
