Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced travel Registered Nurses for OR (Operating Room) assignments at a busy surgical unit. The role involves providing specialized perioperative patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment, focusing on surgical procedures and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and perform preoperative assessments to prepare patients for surgery.
• Assist surgical team during various procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes during procedures.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the EMR system.
• Communicate effectively with staff and providers to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with active registration.
• Minimum of 1-year current acute care OR RN hospital experience in an operating room setting.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience working with DaVinci Robotics or specialty procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of Meditech EMR system highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
