American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a seasonal travel assignment requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent acute care OR experience.

• Work in a 28-bed OR Surgery unit within a hospital setting
• Handles a wide variety of surgical procedures including orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, dental, eyes, pediatrics, spine, neuro, trauma, TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci cases
• Utilizes DaVinci Robotics (SI, XI, and Mako) equipment
• 13-week assignment with 7A-7P shift schedule
• Flexible scheduling with either 4x10s or 3x12s
• Requires one late night shift per week
• Requires one 8-hour Saturday shift every 4th week
• Requires one 8-hour call shift per month on either a Saturday or Sunday
• On-call response time of 30 minutes

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN hospital experience required
• Experience with DaVinci Robotics preferred
• Ortho, neurology, and vascular experience highly preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no exceptions)
• One professional reference required

• Deliver direct patient care within a high-volume, multi-specialty operating room
• Collaborate closely with surgical staff and providers, with strong communication skills valued
• Team includes charge RNs, staff RNs, CNAs, and sitters
• Patient care experience and interpersonal communication are key qualities for the ideal candidate
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position; no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
