American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a fast-paced, high-volume freestanding ER requiring TNCC, PALS, and CPI Blue Card certifications.
Details- Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) setting with 52 beds
- Day and night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel provider per pod
- Patient ratios average 3:1, with low acuity patients at 5:1 and team nursing approach for pediatric patients
- Uses Alaris IV pumps and Meditech EMR
- Performs IV starts, medication administration, procedural sedations, and pediatric care
- Shift schedule is 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
- 13-week assignment length
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of current Emergency Department RN experience required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
- CPI Blue Card certification required
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Experience in a 52-bed or larger ER preferred
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- Fast-paced ER environment suited for adaptable, quick-learning nurses

- Expectation to scan patient and medication barcodes at every administration
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
