American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Neurovascular/Renal stepdown unit position requiring a KS or compact license and prior telemetry experience.

• Medical/Surgical Neurovascular/Renal stepdown intermediate care unit within a teaching hospital
• 38-bed unit with telemetry and remote cardiac monitoring
• RNs start IVs with IV team support available for additional needs
• No drip titrations, EKGs, or sheath discontinuation performed on this unit
• Lab team handles blood specimen collection
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment length
• May float between 3 hospitals and 1 rehabilitation hospital
• Uses Cerner One Chart EMR

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical neurovascular and renal patients in a stepdown intermediate care setting
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
• COVID vaccination not required
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
