Unit Overview:

• Number of Beds: 37
• Number of Staff: 12
• Staff Composition:
• Day Shift: 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, 1 Unit Clerk
• Night Shift: 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs
• Patient Ratios: 1:6; 1:4 for Heart Cath patients (estimated, not guaranteed)
• Type of Equipment: PCA Pumps, IV Pumps, Chest Tubes
• EMR System:
  Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry experience
• BLS & ACLS certifications

Preferred

Skills:

• Prior experience with Meditech
• NIHSS certification

Typical Procedures:

• Central lines
• Medication drips
• Heart Catheter recovery
• Bubble studies
