Registered Nurse ED

Role Overview: Lead the clinical response in an emergency department setting, coordinating patient care, implementing life-saving interventions, and ensuring seamless communication among multidisciplinary teams. Advocate for patient safety by monitoring conditions and executing physician orders with precision. Collaborate on discharge and admission plans to support long-term stability.

• Respond to patients in acute distress with appropriate care and stabilization.
• Coordinate care efforts across departments to deliver rapid, effective treatment.
• Monitor patient status and communicate critical changes promptly.
• Accurately execute complex medical orders and protocols.
• Assist in planning patient transitions for safe discharge or admission.

• Licensed Registered Nurse from the Kansas Board of Nursing or equivalent.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 1 month of hire.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within 6 months.

Education: Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
