Full-time Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit supports patients with acute cardiac conditions in a Wichita, Kansas facility. The role delivers specialized care, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, and mentors new graduates.
Key Responsibilities:Monitor, assess, and manage patients with acute cardiac conditions
Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments
Operate and interpret cardiac monitoring equipment, telemetry, and critical care devices
Respond quickly to emergencies and provide life saving interventions
Document patient progress and communicate changes to physicians and the healthcare team
Educate patients and families on cardiac care, recovery plans, and preventive measures
Support new graduates with mentorship and hands on guidance in the CCU setting
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
New graduate
