• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• At least eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting
• Additional client‑specified requirements (to be determined)

Med‑Surg nurses care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and for those treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness. Responsibilities include

• Executing physician‑ordered assignments
• Providing routine and post‑surgical care
• Assessing changes in patient health status and performing appropriate treatments
• Administering medications
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and the treatment team
