Competitive Pay
- Base pay starting at $27.30/hour, with higher starting rates based on years of experience, plus:

• +$2.00/hour for 2nd Shift
• +$2.00/hour for weekend hours
• +$2.00/hour Attendance Bonus
• Additional pay available for IV certification

That means you'll earn at least $29.30/hour while working 2nd Shift, with the opportunity to earn more based on experience, weekend hours, perfect attendance, and applicable certifications.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Health Care Center 2nd Shift team, you are a confident and compassionate nurse who takes pride in providing high-quality clinical care. You are comfortable making sound clinical decisions, coordinating resident care, and supporting CNAs and CMAs throughout your shift.

You understand that great nursing goes beyond medications and treatments. You're attentive to changes in condition, communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team, and help create an environment where residents feel safe, respected, and well cared for.

We are seeking nurses with hands-on nursing experience who are comfortable working in a skilled nursing environment. Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute experience is strongly preferred.

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and physician orders accurately and safely
• Assess and monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate significant changes to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Supervise, support, and provide clinical direction to CNAs and CMAs during the shift
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards
• Participate in shift report, care conferences, and interdisciplinary communication
• Help ensure a smooth transition of care between shifts through thorough documentation and communication
• Foster a positive, compassionate, and resident-centered environment for residents and coworkers alike

• Current Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
