American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and multiple trauma-related certifications.
Details- Emergency Department-Trauma unit in a hospital setting
- Higher volume of behavioral health patients
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- 13-week assignment
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- ACLS certification (AHA) required
- PALS certification (AHA) required
- TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required with periodic renewal
- CPI or MOAB De-Escalation training required, including online and on-site portions
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a high-stress environment
- Provide direct nursing care per established protocols in a high-acuity ED setting
- Coordinate care across disciplines and communicate patient status effectively
- Carry out physician and nursing orders and assist with discharge planning
- Uniform requirement: ceil blue scrubs
- CPI/MOAB on-site training portion completed during orientation
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
