American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role requiring 2+ years of ED experience and TNCC certification.
Details- Emergency Department-Trauma unit setting
- 13-week assignment with night shift schedule (19:00-07:30)
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA)
- TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- CPI/MOAB High Risk Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training required, with on-site portion completed at orientation
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, documenting and communicating patient condition
- Coordinate care across disciplines and carry out physician and nursing orders
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
- Requires strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by state
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
