Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Wichita, KS | Labor & Delivery

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Provide direct patient care on a 20-bed Birth Care unit, managing labor, delivery, and postpartum couplet patients
• Maintain patient ratios of 3–4:1 for postpartum couplets and 1–2:1 for labor patients
• Perform and assist with procedures including C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler monitoring
• Circulate for C-sections as needed
• Utilize EMR systems (Meditech / CPN) and unit equipment including Welch Allyn vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC glucose monitoring, and Monica Novii telemetry
• Adhere to established standards of behavior and unit guidelines

• Minimum 1 year of current experience as a Labor & Delivery RN
• Active RN license valid for practice in Kansas
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM) certification required

• Postpartum nursing experience
• High-risk LDR (Labor, Delivery, and Recovery) experience
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Join a well-staffed, experienced Birth Care team utilizing modern equipment and technology in an active, high-acuity unit
• Night shift positions offer an expected schedule of 12-hour shifts with a collaborative team including charge nurses, desk clerks, and scrub techs
