American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept-Trauma 1 position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and a KS or compact RN license.
Details- Work in the Emergency Dept-Trauma 1 unit of a hospital environment
- Shift runs 13:00-01:30 on an every-other-weekend schedule
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Cerner One Chart EHR system
- Floating to similar units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita may be required
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and ACLS (must be AHA)
- TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- CPI/MOAB High Risk training required (online and on-site portions)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Provide emergency nursing care within a trauma unit setting
- Ceil blue scrubs required
- CPI/MOAB on-site training portion completed during orientation
- Candidates must reside within a facility-specific radius for standard travel pay rate, with local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
