Medical Surgical Registered Nurse; RN; BOE

Full-time Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position located near Wichita, Kansas. Provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with medical and surgical conditions. Supports patient recovery through assessments, medication administration, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with medical and surgical conditions

• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

• Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to providers

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and ancillary staff to ensure quality outcomes

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, discharge planning, and recovery

• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Current Registered Nurse license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Kansas

• Current Basic Life Support certification required

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills

• ACLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

• Previous Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred

• Experience in an acute care hospital setting

• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making abilities

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
