Crew Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew of landscaping technicians on various residential and commercial projects.
• Ensure tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, mulching, and planting are completed on schedule and meet company standards.
• Conduct daily briefings with the crew, assigning tasks and ensuring proper use of equipment and materials.
• Perform routine inspections of work sites to ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, ensuring proper care and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Communicate with clients and supervisors to address questions, provide updates, and confirm project details.
• Train and mentor crew members to enhance skills and maintain a high level of performance.

• Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
