Join a leading aerospace manufacturing team in Wichita, KS supporting advanced aircraft production programs within a high‑quality, regulated production environment. This role focuses on aircraft quality inspection across structures, systems, fuselage, and composite operations, including cleanroom and structural assembly processes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality inspection activities across aircraft systems, structures, fuselage assembly, composites, metals, and process operations
- Work within classifications including Systems/Payload, Structures Mechanic, Assembly Mechanic (A), Fuselage Assembly, Underwing Composites, Metals, and Process Mechanic (A3)
- Certify for systems inspection functions as required by training and qualification standards
- Support training activities for new or developing inspectors as applicable
- Conduct root cause investigations and support corrective action documentation (non‑disciplinary)
- Prepare and submit test results, investigation statements, and quality documentation
- Perform process audits, hardware inspections, and production surveillance activities
- Execute all Level B inspection functions as assigned
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Support cleanroom operations related to aircraft barrel manufacturing processes
- Perform structural inspection work following composite and airframe assembly operations
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- 3–5 years of aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience in aircraft structures, systems installation, assembly, composites, or quality inspection
- Ability to certify and obtain inspector stamp within required training timeframe
- Strong understanding of aircraft hardware, fasteners, and structural assembly processes
- Experience working in cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and interpret technical specifications
- Experience supporting root cause analysis and corrective action processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to aerospace quality standards
- Ability to work in both cleanroom and structural assembly environments
- Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass required QA certification exams
- Ability to work any assigned shift, including overtime and weekends as required
- Need immediate joiners only
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined under U.S. export control regulations
