Quality Inspector - 10-month Contract (Wichita, Kansas)

We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector for a 10-month, full-time contract position within the aerospace industry. This role is based in Wichita, Kansas, a global hub for aircraft manufacturing and aerospace innovation.
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring that aerospace components consistently meet rigorous standards for quality and safety. We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and advance within the industry. Once you join our team, you will be deployed through SQA’s operations center based on client needs and supplier production schedules, providing dynamic opportunities for professional development.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with work instructions
- Identify and address quality issues, collaborating with other departments as needed
- Quality inspection of products
- Collaborate with team members
- Maintain an eye for quality
- Focus on safety and adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed, including support for third shift and support for 1st or 2nd shift where needed
- Maintain a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a genuine eagerness to learn
- Must be willing to undergo a background check
- Must be ITAR-compliant
- Military background is highly valued but not mandatory
- Previous experience in industrial manufacturing is a strong plus
- Proficiency in using hand precision tools is a plus
This position requires access to ITAR-controlled technical data and/or defense articles. As such, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder) to comply with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered for this role.
