QC Technician - Chemist

The Quality Control Technician supports the Quality Control department by assisting with analytical testing primarily for product release.

• Collect and prepare samples for chemical analysis.
• Perform HPLC, UV‑vis, TOC, pH, conductivity, and Karl Fischer volumetric and coulometric tests.
• Participate in method development and help manage sample tracking.
• Maintain laboratory organization and lab waste management.
• Adhere to procedural, regulatory, and safety guidelines for controlled substances.
• Assist in quality processes, ensuring integrity of product manufacturing, certification, and release activities.
• Train and raise safety awareness among new employees.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in a science field and 0–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control, or a combination of QC and other pharmaceutical quality experience (graduate school may be considered).
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical quality control position adhering to cGMP guidelines preferred.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods and follow established safety and procedures.
• Computer experience using Microsoft Office.
