Responsible for a wide range of inspection functions supporting assembly and machining operations, following programs, documents, drawings and specifications to perform inspection functions.
Responsibilities- Perform first article inspections on machined parts using micrometers, calipers and other measurement devices while working in compliance with AS9100 standards.
- Conduct inspection of finished machined parts, including in‑process inspections from first piece to final inspection.
- Maintain working knowledge of conventional inspection tools and gauges such as micrometers, calipers and thread gauges.
- Communicate with internal customers.
- Follow shop inspection procedures to accept or reject parts and assemblies.
- Conduct assembly inspections.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
