About the JobThe Quality Control Technician supports the Quality Control department by assisting with analytical testing, mainly for product release. Pay: $18.00–$25.00/hr USD
- Collect and prepare samples for chemical analysis.
- Perform analytical testing including HPLC, UV‑vis, TOC, pH, conductivity, and Karl Fischer (volumetric and coulometric) measurements.
- Participate in method development.
- Help manage sample tracking.
- Help maintain lab organization.
- Manage lab waste.
- Adhere to procedural and regulatory guidelines for controlled substances.
- Assist in the quality process, ensuring integrity of product quality, manufacturing, certification, and release activities.
- Adhere to company safety regulations and assist in training new employees in safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a science field and 0–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control, or a combination of QC and other pharmaceutical quality experience (graduate school may be considered toward).
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical quality control position, preferably adhering to cGMP guidelines.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods and follow established safety and procedures.
- Computer experience using Microsoft Office.
