Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Quality Engineer
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the company adheres to regulatory standards and customer requirements through audits, policy development, and risk mitigation strategies. This role requires promoting a culture of accountability and driving compliance across the organization.
Responsibilities- Prepare for and manage onsite audits, including hosting external customer and regulatory auditors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality and compliance.
- Develop and conduct training sessions for employees on quality systems, regulatory standards, and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance trends to ensure adherence to new and changing laws.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a quality role in the aviation industry.
- Working knowledge of regulatory standards in relation to FAA requirements.
- Familiarity with industry quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO
9000. - Experience in coordinating/conducting audits and managing corrective actions.
- Ability to collect and interpret information to make data-based decisions.
- Experience working with internal and external customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and results-oriented mindset.
- Problem-solving skills with critical thinking and prioritizing abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in an organization with ODA designation.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
