Zim Zee Recruiting is looking for a Compliance Manager. This role is responsible for maintaining quality and regulatory compliance within the aviation industry through quality management systems, audits, corrective actions, training, and ongoing risk mitigation. The Compliance Manager will work across functions and with external customers and regulatory auditors to support compliance throughout the product lifecycle while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a quality role within the aviation industry.
  • Working knowledge of FAA regulatory requirements and their application to quality and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9000.
  • Experience coordinating and conducting audits, including managing corrective actions.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret information to make data-driven decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience working effectively with internal teams, external customers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare for and manage onsite audits, including hosting external customer and regulatory auditors and coordinating related activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators related to quality and compliance, using findings to support continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deliver employee training on quality systems, regulatory standards, compliance requirements, and applicable best practices.
