This role is at Spirit Aero Systems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminium manufacturing solutions.
PositionResponsibilities
- Analyze processes, systems, measurement systems, and equipment to ensure the quality, reliability, and system safety of company or procured products and services.
- Provides quality system analysis to validate the integrity of quality decisions that affect products and services.
- Analyzes contractual, product definition, and specification requirements.
- Ensures that resulting processes provide for configuration management.
- Participates in design and product reviews to ensure that producibility, inspectability, reliability, safety, Quality System integrity, and business process management objectives are met.
- Supports the implementation of corrective actions that are necessary to reduce or eliminate non-conformance to design specifications.
- Interfaces with company employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements.
- May use statistical methodologies to ensure that specified levels of safety, reliability, and process capability are achieved, maintained, or improved.
- At least 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or manufacturing industry required
- Data Analytics
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Aerospace and/or Automotive industry experience preferred
- Knowledgeable in Airbus specs and drawings
- Spirit manufacturing, with focus on assembly or fab, familiar with RCCA process.
- Skilled in MS Office

Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level
3): $71,800 - $110,100
