Jury Eye Care is a long‑standing private optometry practice with two locations in Wichita and Derby, Kansas. We offer a one‑of‑a‑kind boutique optical experience, carrying both high‑end designer frames and affordable options for every style and budget. Our fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment is built on direct patient communication, personalized care, and fashion‑forward eyewear solutions.

We are seeking a full‑time Optician to join our team. You’ll work across both locations with a rotating schedule, including some Saturdays and one evening per week. This role combines both optical sales and front desk responsibilities, so we’re looking for someone who is outgoing, personable, and comfortable multitasking in a professional setting.

• Assist patients in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and lenses
• Perform frame adjustments and basic repairs
• Sell eyewear and accessories with a focus on style and function
• Verify vision insurance and process claims
• Schedule appointments and check patients in/out
• Provide excellent customer service in both the optical and front desk areas
• Work collaboratively with a cross‑trained team

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in optical or retail sales is helpful but not required
• Fashion‑savvy with a strong eye for style
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to work at both the Wichita and Derby locations
• Available to work Saturdays on a rotating schedule and one evening per week
• Must be detail‑oriented and comfortable in a busy, team‑driven environment
