Your focus will be on delivering a quick and easy customer experience while keeping the store clean and clutter‑free.

- Keep the sales floor runway ready, ensuring it is sized and filled through re‑merchandising and straightening.
- Assist customers when cashiering across in‑store, online, and mobile platforms, operating the point‑of‑sale system and bagging items of all sizes.
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting, assisting customers, and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
- Maintain a clean and clutter‑free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
- Organize stockrooms, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
- Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies used in the environment.
- Adhere to all operational, merchandise and asset‑protection standards.
- Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
- Unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
- Fulfill customer orders promptly, following quality standards and packing/shipping protocols.
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments.
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized selling floors and stockrooms.
- Provide general support to the store, including setting up special events, organizing backroom markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
- Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills.
- Accountability, initiative, and a high level of ownership.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexible schedule based on business needs.
- Ability to work a physical, on‑foot role for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
- Regularly lift items up to 10 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 25 lbs (Stock and Fulfillment only up to 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs).
- Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Handle bulky and awkward items, including reaching for and lifting above the head.
Hourly: $15.55 – $16.15 (location and experience dependent).
