Our unique pricing model starts at $10 on Fridays and drops daily until everything is just $0.25 on Thursdays
, making room for fresh inventory every week.

Position Summary

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the overall success of the store by leading daily operations, developing high-performing teams, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving operational excellence. This hands‑on leadership position requires an individual who enjoys working on the sales floor, coaching employees, solving problems, and creating an organized, customer‑focused environment.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment and can balance people leadership with operational execution.

Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop Team Leads and Team Members.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and customer‑focused culture.
  • Lead by example through visible leadership on the sales floor.
  • Conduct regular coaching, performance evaluations, and employee development conversations.
  • Recognize and motivate employees to achieve individual and store goals.
Store Operations
  • Oversee all daily store operations to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Ensure the sales floor is fully stocked, organized, clean, and customer‑ready.
  • Monitor inventory flow and coordinate with warehouse operations to maintain merchandise availability.
  • Execute weekly store resets and pricing changes.
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed.
Customer Experience
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming shopping environment.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the store.
  • Ensure every customer receives a positive shopping experience.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Create employee schedules that balance customer service needs with labor budgets.
  • Approve timecards and submit payroll accurately and on time.
  • Monitor sales performance and key operational metrics.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and required reporting.
  • Support company marketing initiatives and promotional events.
Facility & Safety
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and loss prevention procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety and operational inspections.
Qualifications Required
  • 3+ years of retail management experience.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Experience with scheduling, payroll, labor management, and performance coaching.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail management software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
Preferred
  • Big-box, discount retail, liquidation, warehouse retail, or high‑volume retail experience.
  • Experience managing inventory, merchandising, and operational execution.
  • Multi‑unit leadership experience is a plus.
