Join our team as a Shortage Control Associate and contribute to a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service. As an SCA, your role directly impacts the store’s security and the overall shopping experience by maintaining a positive impression of control at entrances, exits, and high risk areas.

• Monitor store entrances, exits, and high risk areas to deter theft.
• Engage customers with friendly, confident greetings and eye contact.
• Maintain professional appearance, wearing designated dress, radio, and earpiece.
• Conduct bag and package checks on associates to ensure safety and security standards.
• Report theft incidents and suspicious subjects to the Manager on Duty promptly.
• Provide training support on shortage reduction programs and processes.
• Model safety as a top priority and address unsafe practices immediately.
• Participate in store rallies and communicate theft prevention information.

• 1+ year of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, asset protection, loss prevention, or operations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and visually monitor the store environment.
• Strong confidentiality skills.
• Ability to review, analyze, and comprehend business trends.
• Excellent communication with customers and coworkers.
• Leadership skills to foster productive business relationships.
• Disciplined decision making in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Positive demeanor, strong posture, and energetic greeting.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
