The Athleta Part Time Lead in Wichita, KS is an on-site role responsible for supporting daily store operations and delivering an engaging customer experience. In this position, the Lead helps guide the sales floor, supports team members during busy periods, and ensures that customers receive knowledgeable, friendly assistance. Typical tasks include driving sales through product education, maintaining visual standards and merchandising, processing transactions, and assisting with inventory management and replenishment.
The Lead also helps uphold brand standards, promotes Athleta’s values, and supports store leadership with opening and closing procedures, while modeling an active, inclusive lifestyle for customers and colleagues. This is a part-time role that may require evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
- Retail and customer service skills, including experience engaging customers, handling transactions, and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Sales and merchandising skills, such as promoting products, supporting sales goals, and maintaining organized, visually appealing displays.
- Leadership and teamwork abilities, including guiding peers on the sales floor, supporting store initiatives, and collaborating effectively with diverse team members.

- Prior retail or apparel experience is beneficial; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
