We are seeking an individual with a strong desire to grow in the industry and who enjoys working in a team environment! The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of the apparel/headwear industry.
As global apparel and headwear design and sourcing experts, we help Brands tell their story through high quality, innovative apparel and headwear products. DRI has the resources to ensure a fully integrated and socially compliant approach to our client’s creative development, merchandising, and operational needs.
Responsibilities- Open and check‑in daily sample packages
- Assist with the execution of merchandising strategy for team’s accounts.
- Assist with product development for new skus; manage factory quote sheets and creating BOMs.
- Help manage timelines and key calendar dates for larger programs by tracking and following up on both sample development and customer approvals.
- Responsible for items set-up and order entry, where needed.
- In collaboration with merchandisers, create design concepts that can be translated into artwork illustrations by internal design teams.
- Communicate daily with overseas factories through detailed emails and spec sheets.
- Support the merchandising team on special projects – presentations, sales analysis, retailing, customer visits, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, marketing, or a related field.
- Must have a general knowledge of the apparel/headwear industry.
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and to work effectively in a team approach.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task on a daily basis.
- Computer applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, and SAP.
