Lot Ops Leader/Operations Manager

Lot Operations is the backbone of the team here at Mid Kansas Auto Auction. It is a part-time position, some overtime will be required.

Starting pay is $12.00 an hour. Pay increase after 90 days.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform sale day duties i.e. moving & parking vehicles
• Managing and marking the back lot for customer vehicles
• Responsible for maintaining and updating all facets of facility maintenance
• Actively report progress to Lot Ops Leader/Operations Manager
• Must be flexible as there are frequent changes of plans and customer interruptions
• Engage in all team efforts and promote teamwork
• Resolve any customer issues in a friendly, courteous manner
• Establish a strong working relationships with teammates
• Walking cars, checking details, verifying work has been completed
• Performing inventory audits of the assets on property (cars, equipment needed to perform duties, etc.)
• Assist the marketing team in setting up/tearing down for monthly promotional events
• Various other daily tasks assigned by Lot Ops Leader/Operations Manager

Qualifications include:

• Strong verbal communication and interaction skills required
• Ability to sit, stand, climb stairs, squat, knee and walk for prolonged periods of time, must be able to lift 5-10 pounds.
• Vision abilities required
• Exposure to weather conditions, fumes, and noises
• Professional customer etiquette
• Self-motivated and goal oriented
• Qualified to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver's license
