Wine & Spirits Sales Rep - Wichita and Outlying

Handcrafted Wines of Kansas is a privately owned distributor of wine and spirits with a fun and casual work environment. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a sales representative role for a well established sales territory in Wichita, KS and the surrounding outlying areas. This position is an off-premise (retail liquor) focused sales role.

• Develop and maintain relationships with retail buyers and store staff.
• Sell in new products, promotions, and seasonal programs.
• Secure shelf placement, cold box space, and displays.
• Execute in-store tastings and consumer engagement events.
• Merchandise shelves to ensure proper placement, pricing, and signage.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage depletion-driven reorders.
• Communicate pricing changes, deals, and incentives.

• A self-starter with the ability to work independently is a must.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• This territory covers a lot of ground, so the ability to be seated in a car for extended periods is a must.
• Dependable transportation required with no MVR violations.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 40lbs.
• Previous sales experience preferred.
• Previous experience in the wine and spirits industry preferred.
• Previous on-premise sales experience is a plus.
• Associates degree preferred but not required.
• Occasional trips to Lenexa, KS for sales meetings.
