Are you a relationship-builder who loves seeing a project move from a vision to reality? Actively Play is looking for a Regional Sales Consultant to help us design and deliver incredible recreation spaces for organizations and communities in Kansas.
About Actively Play: Based in Wichita, KS, Actively Play is dedicated to designing and building premium outdoor recreation spaces for communities and organizations in Kansas and beyond. We specialize in custom playgrounds, playground surfacing, and shade structures for commercial outdoor spaces. Our team takes pride in offering lasting solutions for our clients from the design to completed build.
What you’ll do:
- Relationship-Driven Lead Generation: Build deep networks with key decision-makers to identify projects in the planning phase.
- Project Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact, translating client "visions" into actionable design requests.
- Site Expertise: Conduct site visits and assess project complexities. You’ll gather essential data for the design team to create a winning solution.
- Estimating: Build project estimates from manufacturer and designer assets, using your industry knowledge to ensure the client’s vision and budget stay aligned.
- RFP Management: Coordinate and submit formal bid responses for projects that require a competitive bid process.
What will help you:
- Deep knowledge of the commercial recreation industry or the ability and motivation to gain a deep understanding of the industry.
- A general understanding of construction processes and the ability to navigate technical project concepts.
- Comfortable using or learning to use software tools including Quick Books, Sketch Up, and Google Docs.
- Great phone and email communication skills. Comfortable presenting a project to a client’s decision-making board.
- A high level of personal discipline and self-motivation.
Pay: $70,000–$95,000 per year (flexible compensation structure with salary and commission options available based on experience and preference).

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (required for regional travel)
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Ability to visit outdoor job sites and navigate uneven terrain
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in consultative B2B or outside sales preferred
