Our client, a well-established global manufacturer serving the metalworking industry, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead a newly created sales region with a significant focus on the Aerospace & Defense market
.

- Lead, coach and develop a regional team of technical sales professionals.
- Build a high-energy, growth-oriented culture centered around accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Identify individual strengths and development opportunities, helping team members maximize their potential.
- Drive regional sales strategy with a significant emphasis on Aerospace & Defense manufacturing opportunities
. - Develop and execute plans to grow market share within existing accounts while identifying new strategic opportunities.
- Work closely with distribution partners while maintaining strong engagement with key manufacturing end users.
- Establish clear expectations, measurable goals and consistent sales-management processes.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, distributors and internal stakeholders throughout the region.
- Lead through organizational change with humility, credibility and a willingness to listen.
- Collaborate with application, product, marketing and commercial leadership teams to capitalize on regional growth opportunities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market conditions, competitive activity and customer investment trends.
- Proven success leading and developing an industrial or technical sales team.
- Strong preference for experience within cutting tools, CNC machining, metalworking, manufacturing technology or a closely related industrial market
. - Experience supporting Aerospace & Defense manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success leading teams through change, transformation or significant performance improvement
. - A servant-leadership mentality with a genuine passion for coaching and developing people.
- Humble, approachable and willing to work alongside the team rather than simply manage from above.
- Ability to create accountability while maintaining trust and strong relationships.
- Commercially driven with a desire to grow revenue, market share and customer engagement.
- Comfortable working through industrial distribution while developing relationships directly with manufacturing end users.
- Strong communication, strategic planning and relationship-building skills.
