• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity to help support site access requirements and other security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and controlled access areas to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions requiring attention.
• Support vehicle and pedestrian screening processes, direct visitors to designated areas, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
