Security Officer Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Assignment in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support a welcoming experience through strong communication and customer service.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Thur – 01:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Fri – 01:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Sat – 01:00 PM – 11:30 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior.
• Assist with closing procedures, access control, and after‑hours rounds while remaining attentive to changing conditions within the location.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
