PT Security Officer

Overview

We are hiring a Retail Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers, employees, and vendors. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a customer‑first mindset.

Security & Patrol

• Patrol assigned areas or maintain a fixed post to monitor activity
• Control access points and manage pedestrian/vehicle traffic
• Identify and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety concerns
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and on‑site incidents

Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems
• Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation
• Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all post orders, company policies, and safety procedures
• Maintain knowledge of emergency response protocols
• Inspect property for safety risks (fire hazards, equipment issues, etc.)
• Support loss prevention and recommend safety improvements

Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers, employees, and visitors in a professional manner
• Provide directions and support as needed
• Maintain a visible, approachable presence on‑site

Required

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stay alert and respond calmly in emergency situations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports
• Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
• State Guard license is required, but we can help you obtain it
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred

• Prior security or customer‑facing experience
• Familiarity with CCTV, alarms, or access control systems
