As a Security Officer Patrol Support in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will help monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry, while assisting with visitor processing and following site protocols for deliveries, contractors, and/or guests.
• Support day‑to‑day operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with staff regarding security‑related concerns, and helping with requested post duties based on location needs.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
