United Uptime Services, a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for a dependable and hardworking Construction Installer Technician in Wichita, KS.
About the Position:The Construction Installation Technician will assist in the construction of Petroleum fueling infrastructure and EV Charging Stations across Kansas.
What You’ll Do:- Operate heavy equipment
:
Use construction machinery to dig ditches and install various tanks and other fueling equipment. - Construction tasks: Perform a wide range of duties such as busting and re-pouring concrete, framing, mixing, pipe fitting, and finishing
- Install and repair petroleum equipment
:
Underground and above ground storage tanks, gas dispensers, fuel monitoring systems, pumps, and product piping systems
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Pass background check, drug test and physical (required)
- Ability to travel including overnight- amount will vary depending on workload
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in construction or any of the trades is required
- Previous experience in installing petroleum related equipment is a huge plus
- Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude / troubleshooting skills is highly desired
- Heavy equipment operation experience is strongly preferred
- UST/AST Certification is a homerun, but will certify motivated individuals
- Must have positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
