Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in 3 sites across the City of London, with occasional cover to sites in the West End. CBW is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based across a prestigious commercial office building contract. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance.
He or she will be required to carry out Electrical planned and reactive maintenance across these sites. Working with the maintenance team on‑site, he or she will be required to have an understanding/hands‑on experience of the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary, further training, overtime and the chance to work at this very unique and interesting site.
Package- Up to £48,000 per annum
- Lots of overtime available
- 25 days holiday + BH
- Company pension
- Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
- 08:00 am to 17:00 pm
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lighting (Small installation, fault‑finding, lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Control panels
- Changing ballast
- BMS system – monitor (i.e. hot & cold)
- Maintain and update log books
- Plumbing – unblock toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 (required)
- 17th/18th Edition (required)
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi‑skilled
- Good communication skills
- Client facing
